IRIS Redeployable CCTV
Intelligent Redeployable Information System (IRIS)
IRIS (patent pending) is a new generation of wireless camera surveillance system designed to overcome the practical issues and operational restrictions often associated with rapid deployment of CCTV surveillance.
Incorporating many unique features, IRIS addresses many of the operational shortcomings of earlier generations of deployable surveillance systems.
Designed for operational flexibility, IRIS can be deployed as a stand-alone system or integrated with fixed infrastructure schemes and may be powered by mains, battery or other power source.
Compatibility with existing mobile deployable camera systems is also supported, allowing users to easily migrate to the IRIS system. IRIS supports a wide range of analogue and digital wireless transmission modes, providing flexibility in terms of both deployment and cost. Transmission formats include:
- Narrow-Band COFDM (both licensed & unlicensed frequencies)
- Ultra-Narrow Band COFDM (both licensed & unlicensed frequencies)
- Analogue (both licensed & unlicensed frequencies)
- 3G / GPRS
- Digital OFDM / Wireless IP
- Wi-Fi
- MESH
Extended functionality such as digital video recording, automatic recognition and dual transmission capability is offered through optional interchangeable snap-on modules (PODs).
