Body Mount Camera & Digital Recorder with Optional COFDM Transmission.

Stryker’s body mount camera system is designed in two main parts, the camera & recorder and the transmission.

The camera & recorder are ruggedized and purpose built for body worn applications, the recorder is waterproof to 100m and is rugged enough to be dropped or run over by a car and still keep recording.

Stryker Body Worn 1

The transmission unit of the body worn camera system, uses the latest COFDM transmission, this allows the images to be transmitted line of sight up to 1km and non line of site up to 500m.

Camera & DVR key features:

  • Fully sealed waterproof unit
  • 8 hour video or 8000 stills record capacity
  • Integral power source with up to 16 hours usage on one charge (Dependent on usage)
  • Nickel Coated Carbon Fibre re-enforced Polycarbonate Case for ultimate strength and toughness
  • Clear Polycarbonate top cover, supported by high modulus woven carbon-fibre sheet
  • Captive dust cap for connector protection
  • Ergonomically designed
  • Integral 2.4” TFT LCD screen
  • Extensive connectivity including: USB 2, I2C, I2S, LVDS, RS232/422, S-Video Out, Composite Video Out and Audio Out

  • COFDM, digital multipath radio transmission on licence exempt frequencies
  • Small transmission unit
  • Non line of site transmission, ideal for entering buildings
